The recent reconstruction of the 2nd Tee Box at Dunmurry Golf Club using Colinwell Allan Block units marks a long association with the club as Colinwell Fair Face/Paint Grade blocks were utilized during the construction of the new club house which opened its doors in 1983.
At the time of its construction, Colinwell Fair Face/Paint Grade blocks were used as the finish in the main ground floor circulation areas, changing and locker rooms, administration areas and the professional shop. Chosen for their hard-wearing qualities, the Colinwell Fair Face blocks have certainly stood the test of time for 40 years.
As our Allan Block retaining wall system has BBA Roads & Bridges certification, we can confidently say that the Colinwell Allan Blocks used on the 2nd Tee Box will have a life expectancy of at least 120 years!
